Peter Lerner's other passion is music education: Since 1996, Peter has been
teaching guitar at Columbia College of Chicago, IL. Peter has developed a
unique teaching method, which allows students to:
• learn music fundamentals
• develop and solidify guitar techniques step-by-step
• understand spirituality and philosophy of music & art
Private Guitar Lessons
Peter Lerner offers private guitar lessons to people of all ages, beginners to
advanced/professional players. His only requirement for students is to be
serious about learning guitar. With his unique method, Peter teaches guitar
techniques of various types of music, including jazz, blues, rock & fusion, and
funk. (Peter is currently not accepting new students. To check his
